More Successes

Some of our members will recall in 2007 we received correspondence from numerous prison guards alerting us to the fact that an inmate by the name of Malcolm Chaston was bragging that when he got out he was going to “commit some atrocities against women and become famous”. (His words)

We immediately informed then Minister of Justice Phil Goff and Minister of Police Annette King of what Chaston was saying he would do when released. The answer was they could do nothing as Chaston had reached his sentence end date, [SED] and could not be kept in prison any longer.
